Friends, when I talk about a dream couple and a dream shoot, please know that I’m referring this THIS ONE. Stijn and Tina are a cool Belgian couple who got married in a small ceremony in their home-town of Ghent. Nothing fancy, just friends and family and the most delicious food money can buy.

Instead of having extensive wedding coverage on the day, they decided to celebrate their nuptials with a weekend break in Amsterdam. Including a wedding shoot to commemorate their fancy outfits.

It was a quiet Saturday morning when I met them at the Volkshotel in Amsterdam East for their shoot. Dressed in their wedding garb, they of course received many congratulations from passers-by. Being the self-described awkward people they are, they did not enjoy a second of this unsolicited attention.

In front of the lens was a different story entirely. Absolute naturals.

From East we took the metro to Central Station, and then the ferry to NDSM werf. Without a doubt my favorite location for photoshoots. Also, did I mention this was the DREAM???

We strolled around the complex, they taught me some Belgian phrases, I almost tripped over my own feet. All in all, a successful photoshoot.
