Let’s say, if the technology were to exist (and I’m not saying it does) for me to literally shrink Yuki and Hildebrand to coffee cup size and carry them around in my handbag all day…I’ll totally do it. I’ll even feed them snacks from the tiny kitchen. Would I get arrested and thrown in a padded cell with Wayne Szalinski? Probably. But that’s just because I really loved celebrating with this amazingly sweet couple during their intimate Amsterdam wedding in March.

It was an unseasonably cold on their wedding in March. The sunshine that was promised to us by every weather website this side of the North Sea, never even attempted to show it’s gloriously spiteful face. However, the muted light was beautiful for our shoot in Durgerdam. The ceremony was held in the Schellingwoude church after which everybody headed off to Haddock, a quirky, industrial restaurant on the outskirts of Amsterdam. Yuki and Hildebrand chose to have a small ceremony and reception. They also kept the whole wedding close to their apartment in Amsterdam. By close I mean that Haddock is literally a 5 minute drive from their home! How nice it must be to roll from your wedding party straight into your bed. Exactly what I would do!

I absolutely loved being part of this super sweet and intimate Amsterdam wedding. Yuki and Hildebrand are some of the nicest people I’ve met in a long time. And I feel honored to have been able to capture their special day for them!
